February, 2006 Report

• Last year Reach America set up an effort to receive and disburse funds for the Hurricane victims.  We had no idea that God’s people would respond the way you did.  God has used this ministry to raise over $143,000 to help our people.  Many people told us that through your gifts they were greatly helped and encouraged.
• The Hurricane Relief Fund is now an Emergency Relief Fund.  We will continue to raise funds to help our people when there is an emergency need such as Hurricanes, Tornados, Earthquakes, Fires, Floods, etc.
• Would you prayerfully request your church to add this much needed ministry to your monthly budget?  Please don’t drop any current Mission support to do this.  By faith we believe most churches can add $50 per month to their budget and God will richly bless it.  Some churches can do more.  Through this means we should have sufficient funds available to help when a need arises.

 We Have Three Needs:
    ·       Prayerful Monthly Supporters.
    ·       Information on those who can benefit from these Funds.
    ·       Help us promote this much needed ministry to others.

Sherry Bufkin, a member of our sponsoring church and Vice President of one of our local banks is the Treasurer for these funds.  We will use ABANews to send out reports.
