Eternal
Life Comes Only Through Jesus Christ:
I John 5:12
He that hath the Son hath life; and he that hath not the
Son of God hath not life.

If
you do not know Jesus Christ as your
personal Saviour you are separated from God.
Sin
Separates us From God

What
Is Sin:
James
4:17 Therefore to
him that knoweth to do good, and doeth it not, to him it
is sin.
God is Holy and Perfect . . .
and we are not. Sin not only means doing wrong or
failing to do all that God wants. Sin is also
ignoring or rejecting God. Because God is Holy, He
cannot accept our sin.
Who
Has Sinned:
Romans 3:23
For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God.
Nore of us are perfect.
We all have done things that are wrong If it
is not right it is sin.
What
Happens When We Sin:
Isaiah 59:2
But your iniquities have separated between you and your
God, and your sins have hid his face from you, that he
will not hear.
Romans 6:23
The wages of sin is death...
Sin causes a gap between God
and us. (See above illustration) Death, in this verse
means eternal separation from God, This is the penalty
for our sin.
I
Have Good News!
Jesus Christ Loves You.
And only through Him can you have
a personal relationship with God

Jesus Christ is the ONLY way to God:
John
14:6 Jesus saith...., I
am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto
the Father, but by me.
Titus
3:5 Not by works of
righteousness which we have done, but according to his
mercy he saved us...
Ephesians
2:8,9 For by grace are
ye saved through faith; and that not of yourselves: it
is the gift of God: Not of works, lest any man
should boast.
- It is only through Jesus
Christ that we can have a relationship with God.
- If we could receive
salvation through parents, works, living right,
baptism, or even religion, there would have been
no need for Jesus to come and die for us.
Why
Did Jesus Christ Have To Die:
I Peter
3:18 For Christ also hath once suffered for sins,
the just for the unjust, that he might bring us to
God, being put to death in the flesh, but quickened
by the Spirit:
2 Co 5:21
For he hath made him to be sin for us, who knew no sin;
that we might be made the righteousness of God in him.
